Stories… when I hear this word, my eyes sparkle with enthusiasm and delight. They have always been my companion in different forms ever since I was a child. We hear them from people we meet, books we read or by observing our surroundings. Each person has a story to tell and each story is unique. The world revolves around stories- many told, some untold…some make their way out easily and some do not see the light of the day.
When I read books, I enter the realm of unknown mystical world. It is like entering a house with many rooms. Books help us like our childhood friend, who is warm, to give glimpses of the house and when we are done with the book, it helps us to look at the world in a different light.
Right books have entered in my life at the right time. They have helped me with some solution or given a newer perspective all together. In tough times, books have made me feel relaxed. I have always enjoyed my reading journey. Books make one to think, ponder, find solutions, understand better and more so, a refined person. What better gift to our kids on this Children’s Day than reading?
Wishing you all Happy Children’s Day!!! Let your child/ren immerse into this beautiful world of stories…. loosing themselves into books, only to find a newer, better selves. Happy reading!!!

It was really good to read this article. I was procrastinating this activity considering kids are not having time but recently when she started reading; I have decided her to take bookstore once in a quarter. Now, after reading this article I have decided once in a month. I remember my imagination, dreams and plays are around chandoba and champak comics. Thank for doing wonderful job.

Brilliant Writing!!!
I don’t think anyone else could have explained and related to this thought better than you. You are a living example of how reading can influence, assist and shape a person’s life into a loving, wonderful and thoughtful human being that you are.
